This is a unique experience for children, parents and grandparents alike. Using drama, you are taken back in time to 1944 at Fort Lytton. It's a training ground for troops, but on this particular day, things are not going to plan. Sergeant Wilson is at a loss, but Corporal Jones (Australian Women's Army Service) has an alternative plan to get the new recruits (you) through the inspection at the end of the day.
It's a roller-coaster of a morning with cap making, flag making, parade ground drill, gun drill (on a working model of a twin-six-pounder), semaphore and singing (it's a marching song of course, but not one you might expect!)
The day ends on a high: everyone passes with flying colours. You'll be singing, all the way home! Bookings are essential by telephoning 3393 4647.
