CERES Bird Count Picnic 2024

Join us at CERES Joe's Market Garden to take part in the Aussie Bird Count and get to know our beautiful birds of the Merri Creek. There will be bird counting of course plus market stalls music craft activities and a bird themed raffle! Our Farm Gate will be open for yummy treats and coffee.

Bird Counting Sessions are 20 mins long and run from 11am and 12pm.

General entry is free. We also have two paid workshops available on the day: Bird Language and Guided Birds of the Merri Creek Walk.

The National Bird Count is run by Birdlife Australia from 14-20 October 2024. Participants all over the country will choose a spot and count the birds they see in 20 minutes before registering their count online.
