JAZZ: On Thursday, MAY 30, 2024, JMQ Jazz Ensemble is delighted to again feature vibrant jazz singer-violinist, FEM BELLING with outstanding tenor saxophonist, Justin Fermino at the welcoming Golden Gate Hotel, South Melbourne at 7pm, with Tony Floyd, Michael Harding, Barney Loveland + John Montesante.

FEM burst onto the Melbourne Jazz Scene, after a sojourn in London, with her exquisite, versatile voice and powerful stage presence, lending authenticity, creativity and something extra special to jazz. A born performer from a musical family, Fem throws her own spin on jazz standards and paying homage to the Jazz Greats. She showcases her passion for scatting and her sheer joy of making music, with class, sophistication and diversity.

JUSTIN is a saxophonist, clarinetist, composer, MD and vocalist who began playing music at the age of twelve. After tertiary music studies, Justin has enjoyed performing in Australia and internationally at venues and festivals and has also toured in Japan, China, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy and Germany. He has recorded numerous of his composition with various ensembles. He has performed with many 'name' jazz artists in Australia and abroad.
