Film Screening - The Rescue

Whenever there is emergency, such as capsized and sunken drilling platform, fast flowing locomotive of oil truck in turbulence, or a fully loaded passenger plane plunging into the sea, Gao Qian (played by Eddie Peng), Captain of the Maritime Emergency Response Team, Fang Yuling (played by Xin Zhilei), the Aircraft Captain, and Zhao Cheng (played by Wang Yanlin), the winch operator, will lead the team to arrive first time. Standing in front of the roaring water or blazing fire and guiding the evacuation till the last minute, they fight against the natural and man-made disasters with their lives. But in front of nature, they are only human beings without superpower. Fear in real world makes them feel helpless and frustrated when they are on the edge of death. They can better understand the meaning of life when they face the wounds of their buddies, rescue missions without possibility of retreat and complicated rather conditions. There is no option of “retreat” in the missions of maritime rescue. Roar of the rotors, loud waistles and sound olin motors compose the heroic song of their fearlessness and self-sacrifice.
