Save Wallum Extremely Sophisticated Fun-raiser

The Save Wallum campaign has been going for almost a whole year! A community of passionate volunteers have worked tirelessly together to save this precious cultural and ccological Wonderland (home to 9 endangered species) from destruction. After one year of campaigning and six months of blockading, Wallum Still Stands and it’s time for some Extremely Sophisticated Fun to celebrate what we have achieved so far.

Get ready for an unforgettable night, starting with the Punk Cabaret Duo, MUTTON! Simone O’Brien and Gee Gee Griffindore are two post-menopausal, post-modern, pre-apocalyptic old punks making cabaret while the Earth burns: it's all they can do now. 18+ comedy content, with a definite feminist vibe (because the patriarchy is screwing everybody).

Following Mutton, THE VERSACE BOYS will light up the stage and the dancefloor. Will Henderson and Alex Johnson are the richest and most famous influencers in all of Byron Bay and the multiverses (they only wear designer). Playing their laugh out loud, freestyling, high energy, uniquely entertaining, full power designer music for your ears.

Our MC will be Emmy-loo Amethyst, direct from Trump's presidential campaign, where she’s been offering free colonic crystal healing for his followers. Emmy-loo Amethyst will heal any hardened heart or groin with her Texan swagger and inability to comprehend nuance. Her audiences are left astonished and hilariously confused.

A night of exceptional tunes and laughter is guaranteed. This event is a Save Wallum fundraiser with money raised going towards ongoing blockade expenses and legal costs for our Federal Court Case.
