Bud and Bloom is a 6-week botanical drawing class at Tuggeranong Arts Centre.
Explore the magic of flowering plants. Examine the shapes, colours, textures and habits of a wide variety of angiosperms through observational drawing, a time- honoured method used in botanical study. Develop your eye, art skills and botanical knowledge in this journey of discovery.
Gina Chapman is a graduate of the ANU School of Art, winning the BCC Patron Award for her graduating work. She has gone on to study conservation and land management and horticulture. Gina currently leads the Seniors and Carers classes as well as masterclass workshops at Tuggeranong Arts Centre. She is passionate about environmental issues, conservation and the intersection with visual arts.
Explore your creative side, expand technical abilities, refine theoretical knowledge and practical skills, and try new things in Tuggeranong Arts Centre’s Winter season of short courses.
Especially designed for curious adults who are keen to extend their creative art practice, TAC’s upcoming season of six-week classes are an opportunity to explore new techniques without having to purchase expensive materials and equipment.
