Spring is in full swing, the wattle is blooming, the birds are singing so it’s time you got dancing!
Come along and join us in lighting up the Mountain River Hall with the sounds of music, dancing and laughter.

Ross Smithard & Up Jumped Trouble will provide the music for the night with foot stomping old time tunes played on fiddle, banjo, guitar and uke along with a special guest dance caller and mandolin player from N.S.W.

Can’t dance! Yes you can….Moves are demonstrated and all dances are called by the band’s indelible fiddle player, Ross Smithard.

Don’t have a partner! Bush dances are notoriously friendly places so come and make a friend on the dance floor, you will find that there's always someone to dance with.

No more excuses ….. grab your family, friends or come by yourself and head on down to the Mountain River Hall in the beautiful Huon Valley to celebrate blooming Spring

Doors open at 6pm with the music and dancing kicking off at 6.30

We will also be joined by the very enterprising students from Peregrine School selling fabulous home made treats and drinks to help fund their upcoming trip to Japan.

Food truck TBC.

You are most welcome to bring your own food and drinks as there will be tables and seating available. We do ask that you take home with you what you bring.

AND do bring your water bottles with you as dancing is thirsty work!

If you came along to the last two bush dances at the Cygnet Town Hall you will know what a fun night this will be. Smaller venue, smaller band but the same great style of tunes, same great caller and the same great types of dances!

Hope to see some familiar and new faces there.
