The three days of the Recreation Day Holiday Weekend (2nd to 4th November) will see engines in steam, free train rides, old-time farm machinery display, all backed up by Country-style catering and local charitable stalls in the engine sheds.
SPECIAL FEATURE: Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Farmall Tractor production
- a gathering of these iconic tractors.
The local Blacksmith will also be in residence, showing the skills from the forge.
The event has been a regular on the local calendar since the 1960's – even the through COVID period.
First held at the Pearn’s farm in Hagley, it moved to the Westbury site in 2002.
Run entirely by volunteers, the museum is open every day except Christmas Day and ANZAC Day morning.
