The Hand That Feeds

When a lonely young man named Kendall responds to a curious ad, promising the opportunity to make a friend, he is called to the strange laboratory and confronted by the company’s magnum opus – The Android.

An Artificial Intelligence designed to provide friendship to those who crave connection. The Android, unfortunately, has lots to learn before he is ready to be shipped to shelves internationally. And Kendall’s task is to help hurry things along by teaching the Android the ways that humans think and, more importantly, the ways that humans feel – and by doing so, perhaps, the Android could teach him a couple of things too.
