Classic Southside is delighted to welcome back captivating singer Jackie Bornstein. Jackie is one of Australia's most enchanting Jazz, Bossa Nova and Chanson Singers.

Known for her rich vocals and ability to get to the heart of a tune, Jackie enchants audiences with her emotive delivery and beautiful tone. A regular at Melbourne’s top jazz venues, Jackie brings a powerful energy to every performance.

Together with her band of esteemed jazz musicians, Jackie performs a stunning repertoire in multiple languages, with a focus on female composers. Expect a beautiful mixture of swing, bossa nova and poetry-driven songs by composers including Duke Ellington, Peggy Lee, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Billie Holiday, Edith Piaf, Maria Grever, Charles Trenet and more.

Joining Jackie on stage for this performance will be rising jazz star Yael Zamir on flute, exciting guitarist Craig Fermanis and bass master Ben Hanlon.
