Juliarna Clark & Hector Harley w. JMQ Jazz Ensemble

On Thursday Nov 6, JULIARNA CLARK will feature with JMQ Jazz Ensemble, at The GOLDEN GATE HOTEL, South Melbourne at 7pm, with guest Hector Harley on saxophone and the all-star JMQ line up: Tony Floyd (drums), Michael Harding (piano), Nick Haywood (d.bass) and John M (horns).

JULIARNA is a dynamic, engaging jazz singer of great talent and artistry who brings warmth, elegance and humour to all her performances. She has wide experience as a jazzer in Australia and Internationally, including choir leading and radio presenting: simply a wonderful all-rounder! A night out with her guarantees toe-tapping, marvelling, a few laughs and great memories of a fabulous night of music, including many tunes that shall delight.

HECTOR is a Melbourne-based saxophonist and composer who is making a name for himself in the jazz scene. As well as guesting with various Jazz ensembles, he leads his own trio and quartet, at times performing original compositions, exploring rich harmonies, rhythmic interplay, and open improvisation in a chamber-like setting. Always nice to have him aboard.
