The Marilyn Monroe Revelation: Not Just a Blonde

Starring Alia Milano – Australia's Marilyn Monroe
As featured in The World Books of Marilyns

What if Marilyn had found herself—before the world tried to define her?

The Marilyn Monroe Revelation: Not Just a Blonde is a breathtaking reimagining of the most iconic woman of the 20th century. This tribute dares to look beyond the beauty and fame—to the woman Marilyn Monroe was becoming… and the one the world never let her fully be.

Alia Milano, internationally featured as Australia’s Marilyn, brings her to life in a performance that blends theatre, jazz cabaret, storytelling, and soul.

With a live band featuring piano, bass, saxophone, and drums, Alia performs Monroe’s most beloved classics, including:

Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend
My Heart Belongs to Daddy
Fever
Someday My Prince Will Come
Cry Me a River

This time, the songs are sung not to please others, but as anthems of self-love, awakening, and strength.

Through captivating monologue, graceful movement, and stunning vocals, Alia channels the woman beneath the myth—fierce, funny, vulnerable, and free.

About Alia Milano

Alia Milano began performing at the age of five, raised in a home filled with music and guided by her mother, a professional flute teacher. Her classical training in voice, combined with a natural flair for drama, led her to win numerous eisteddfods and earn prestigious scholarships in Speech and Drama through Trinity College London. Alia’s early work in television commercials was featured in the Melbourne Film Festival, revealing her ability to captivate both screen and stage.

Her professional journey has been as dazzling as it is diverse. She graced the stage with Eddie McGuire, walked the red carpet alongside Eric Bana, appeared as a model on the television show Deal or No Deal, and was named a finalist in Miss Universe Australia. Every step of her career has blended glamour with substance, discipline with artistry.

Today, Alia brings her rich tapestry of performance, classical training, and personal evolution into an unforgettable portrayal of Marilyn Monroe. She doesn’t just embody a legend—she reclaims her. Through voice, presence, and soul, Alia invites audiences to see Marilyn not just as a bombshell, but as a woman in the midst of becoming.Live Band Line-up
