Environmental Film Festival is back, running 16-23 October and celebrating our 15th year by returning to the cinema where we first started, Palace Kino!

On Friday, 17th of October, join us at Trocadero Projects in Footscray for an experiential gallery screening of ‘METABOLISM’ (2023), a cinematic poem shot along the Wirribi-yaluk (Werribee river), with artist talk from filmmaker Eugenia Lim. This screening is a ‘Pay As You Can’ fundraiser, supporting the APHEDA Gaza Appeal.

Environmental Films Australia is a volunteer-run community group based in Naarm (Melbourne) that promotes action through cinema, community and connection. We prioritise climate and environments through film, provide platforms for artists to showcase their work, and create space for people to connect and exchange solutions.
