Our Seventh String

Our Seventh String is an original folk-inspired musical which follows the return of an old group of friends, musicians, artists, and lovers who wish goodbye to their past home. Through unexpected appearances and lingering grudges, the characters grapple with themselves, the house, and art itself. Brought back together by an unexpected fax after seven years of lost contact, their different paths and perspectives clash and resolve in order to grow beyond their past artistic lives within this old house.

Their stories are told through playing live music together, encompassing musical genres of folk, musical theatre, and even some bossa nova, ultimately opening up a conversation surrounding the role of art in today’s society.
