RIPE Festival, a one-day celebration of food, flavour and community, takes place on Sunday 26 October at Oliva Social in Preston. Julia will host an Italian-inspired masterclass, drawing on her time in Tuscany to showcase Perino tomatoes in a vibrant summer salad.
She’ll be joined by Theo Loizou, two-time MasterChef contestant and founder of Psomi, who’ll lead a bread-making workshop featuring loaves paired with Perino’s glasshouse-grown tomatoes.
RIPE Festival serves up a full day of flavour with tastings from Yarra Valley Dairy, a limited Bosco Gelato flavour, wood-fired pizza, live music, and Italian lawn games. Entry is $5 and includes a Perino tote, with extra food experiences and masterclasses available to book.
