The Friends of ANZAC Cottage take great pleasure in inviting you, your friends and family to our annual Remembrance Day commemorations on November 11, 2025, from 4 pm to 6 pm at ANZAC Cottage, 38 Kalgoorlie Street, Mount Hawthorn.
This event will explore the theme of “remembrance and peace” with the assistance, support and insights from our co-hosts, students from the Premier’s ANZAC Student Tour. Visitors to this free commemoration will be able to tour the Cottage, admire our revamped “Field of Remembrance,” and browse mini-exhibitions explaining the significance of the white poppy.
The moving Sunset Service will begin at 5 pm and conclude at 6 pm at the “going down of the sun.” To explain the timing: whilst the Armistice was signed at 11.00 am in France, it was 6.00 pm in Perth.
Entry to this memorial event is free, with refreshments available for a gold coin donation. Bookings are not required.
