This brilliant production sold out its debut at the Paris Cat in 2023, and has since been booked at the Ballarat Jazz Club, the Eltham Jazz Food and Wine Festival, the Victorian Jazz Club and elsewhere.
Extraordinarily talented multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Susy Hull explores the towering Gershwin songbook, moving seamlessly between saxophone, flute, piano and washboard as she sings some of the greatest songs ever written, including “Embraceable You”, “They Can’t Take that Away From Me”, “I’ve Got a Crush on You”, “It Ain’t Necessarily So” and, of course, “Summertime”.
With Mark Morand’s arrangements and guitar, the awesome Morgana rhythm section of Annette Yates and Sonja Horbelt, and the remarkable Paul Winter on clarinet and tenor sax, this is simply a ‘must-see’ show - one of many Mark Morand Productions presented by the Paris Cat.
