Swan River Ramblers Jazz Lunch Cruise

Cruise the glorious Swan River aboard the iconic Paddlesteamer Decoy with a live soundtrack of classic jazz provided by The Swan River Ramblers.

Led by bassplayer Pete Jeavons, the Swan River Ramblers return to the Paddlesteamer Decoy on Sunday March 16 for a lunchtime cruise featuring Adam Hall (Trumpet/Vocals), Ray Walker (Banjo), Lachie Glover (Tenor Sax) and of course Pete Jeavons (double bass).

The band performs repertoire from a wide spectrum of styles (trad. jazz, swing, blues, bebop, gypsy jazz, latin, New Orleans style etc) combining a wealth of performance experience, with instrumental virtuosity and a keen sense of spontaneity. You can expect to hear music from greats such as Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Django Reinhardt, Sidney Bechet and George Gershwin as well an eclectic mix of contemporary tunes.
