The 2025 Bickley Harvest Festival

Explore the Perth Hills Wine, Cider and Food Trail and indulge in the bounty of Autumn at the 2025 Bickley Harvest Festival on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 May. With more than 25 years of tradition, this festival is not just an event; it's an experiential showcase of the finest local wine, spirits, food, and produce set amongst the stunning Perth Hills in Autumn.

In 2025 the festival extends beyond the traditional weekend to include a range of activities throughout the entire month of May. Event organisers say there is much to celebrate this year with a dynamic program of activities at over 20 venues, off the back of an abundant harvest.

Locals and tourists can use the festival map to plan their trail across a diverse range of venues offering a variety of experiences, tours, workshops, tastings, special menus, including family-friendly locations. Enjoy live music performances, local artistic talent, and fresh produce from orchards and vineyards, while you discover the beauty of Bickley Valley with its rolling hills, lush greenery and myriad of Autumn colours.

Sip: Taste and enjoy award-winning wines at numerous wineries including Fairbrossen where their organically grown wine is produced 100% off the grid. Amongst the boutique distilleries be sure to taste the Perth Hills’ first-ever Whiskeys at HHH Spirits and Carmel Distillery. Take part in exclusive guided tastings and engage with winemakers, growers and distillers while you sample new releases from some of our state’s finest.

Taste: From fine dining experiences to pop-up producer events, indulge in the freshest local ingredients and enjoy culinary food pairings at ephemeral events throughout the valley. The La Fattoria vineyard long lunches and platters will showcase their 10 Italian varietals, and experience the best of the season’s flavours with the Autumn Harvest at Plume Estate Cellardoor Kitchen.

Experience: Discover live art installations and immersive exhibits, like the progressive tasting exhibit at Myattsfield Vineyards. The originality of the Valley shines through with timber at New Leaf Gallery and metal creations at Rusty Roo. Experience an extraordinary fusion of creativity and craftsmanship at HHH Spirits, where a tasting or tour will reveal the magic behind the stills with founder, stiller and engineer Hilton, who crafts them onsite himself.

Listen: Unwind with the melodies of local artists set against the backdrop of the valley's stunning autumnal hues. Brookside Winery will host live music accompanying woodfired pizzas and a drop of their award-winning wines, in one of the most beautiful settings in the Valley. Restaurant bookings are recommended at Hainault Winery - the oldest winery on the Bickley Wine Trail – with live music by Coastal Drift on Saturday and Sunday (and free wine tastings).

Tour: Discover the beauty and processes behind the region's famed fruit production with guided tractor-ride tours through vibrant orchards at Core Cider House, perfect for a family day out. The shuttle bus service will run for one day on Saturday 3 May, a popular option to travel around the picturesque region and indulge in community spirit. Stopping approximately every 30 minutes at venues including The Packing Shed Distilling Co., Brookside Vineyard.
