It’s the end of the world as we know it! On the night a comet is set to destroy the Earth, two estranged childhood friends honour an old pact and meet together at their hangout to share a drink and ring in the end.
With the local radio station set to play the ultimate final song right before the comet hits, fastidious Georgia and reckless Ollie attempt to reconnect, reminisce and rationalise their lives, all the while trying to work out what the Last Song is going to be.
As the comet bears nearer, George and Ollie quickly realise what exactly it was that drove them apart in the first place, as whilst Georgia tries to adhere to a carefully planned itinerary Ollie wants to party and let loose. As tensions rise and personalities and ghosts from the past clash, and the two friends find themselves facing a bigger crisis than the end of the world.
Will they find out what The Last Song will be, or will they kill each other before it plays?
A story about letting go of the past, growing up, and friendship through adversity, The Last Song blends laugh-out-loud comedy and stirring pathos to send a life-affirming message to audiences.
