SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium is continuing to celebrate 25 years of unforgettable marine experiences and conservation with a turtle-tastic adventure over the school holidays.
From 5 April to 27 April, families can dive into the world of resident rescue turtles Plugga, Chandler, and Dave, and watch them glide through the water while enjoying special turtle talks on the challenges faced by sea turtles and the vital work being done to protect them.
Kids can become certified Turtle Rescuers by donning a lab coat and participating in hands-on activities at the Turtle Rescue Station where they’ll be able to identify injuries, check turtle x-rays, and even release rescued turtle toys into the pool, all while learning about turtle care.
All Turtle Rescuers will be given a certificate to take home and can purchase an exclusive storybook about the heartwarming rescue of Plugga the sea turtle, or a specially crafted show bag as a memorable takeaway from their turtle-y awesome adventure.
Guests can dive even deeper into the workings of the aquarium on a Behind the Scenes Tour or discover what goes on inside the Jelly Lab on a Jelly Lab Experience. To find out more head to: www.visitsealife.com/melbourne/tickets-passes/experiences
Guests can go BIG and double the family fun with the Melbourne Big Ticket, which gives families access to both SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium and LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.
