After years of sell out performances, this diverse collective of some of Byron Shire’s powerful, creative women and people with vaginas, present personal, professional or political stories to inform, educate, entertain, and support. Funny, sad, challenging and celebratory, with creator & MC Zenith Virago, the Vagina Conversations is a more contemporary evolution of the Vagina Monologues, bringing a courageous fresh local flavour to our community.

Vaginas, the most powerful body part on the planet. Giving pleasure, giving life, experiencing pain…. desired and exploited every day. Part of the One Billion Rising V-Day global revolution to end violence. The performers use spoken word, dance, music, song and comedy to share their personal, professional and cultural experiences, to inspire and empower themselves and others.

All proceeds go to the Women's Resource Service - Byron Escape Fund & the Tweed DVIRC Impact Fund supporting local women escaping intimate partner and family violence. Financing women in crisis to pay for emergency needs, keeping women and children safe; together, we have raised over $90,000.

VENUE INFORMATION: Please note the Brunswick Picture House is located in Brunswick Heads NSW, in the Northern Rivers region (not in Brunswick VIC). Please select your tickets carefully as no refund or credit will be granted for errors in identifying the venue location.
