Characters

Hamish Macleod has created a one-man theatre comedy show titled, ‘Characters,’ that brings you into the unhinged worlds of some rather unique individuals. The show is based on a series of vignettes. In each vignette Macleod inhabits a character. The time and place the characters are in, vary from a bar on the Gold coast, an opium den, the bottom of a sinking ship, a prison in England, to a basement in Los Angeles.
They are snapshots into other worlds. Like walking into a scene from a movie, just when things… are getting interesting.

These characters range from the fantastical, the absurd, the criminal, to the mad and flow seamlessly from one to the other with Macleod’s narration.
In the second half of the performance, some of the characters find themselves in the same vignette, with some rather dramatic outcomes that you may not see coming. So get ready to strap yourself in for one hour of adventure! A mesmerizing performance that will leave you with a grin.
