Swan River Ramblers feat. Mark Turner

Cruise the glorious Swan River aboard the iconic Paddlesteamer Decoy with a live soundtrack of classic jazz provided by The Swan River Ramblers.

Led by bassplayer Pete Jeavons, the Swan River Ramblers return to the Paddlesteamer Decoy on Sunday January 18th (2026) for a lunchtime cruise featuring Mark Turner (Saxophone/Vocals), Lachie Glover (Trumpet), Ray Walker (Banjo) and of course Pete Jeavons (double bass).

The band performs repertoire from a wide spectrum of styles (trad. jazz, swing, blues, bebop, gypsy jazz, latin, New Orleans style etc) combining a wealth of performance experience, with instrumental virtuosity and a keen sense of spontaneity. You can expect to hear music from greats such as Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Django Reinhardt, Sidney Bechet and George Gershwin as well an eclectic mix of contemporary tunes.

Ticket prices from just $65 (adult), $32.50 (Under 18s), $625 (allocated table for 8 people) and includes;
- 3 hour cruise aboard the iconic Paddlesteamer Decoy
- Live music from the Swan River Ramblers (the band plays 3 x 40 minute sets of music as they rove around the upper deck)
- A light lunch to keep you going!

Boarding from 10:45am, Cruise from 11am till 2pm
