Canadian rock band Nickelback have confirmed the dates of an Australian Tour scheduled for November this year. Nickelback will be performing a series of arena shows - in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne - in support of their current album Here And Now which made it to #1 on the ARIA charts.
Despite the band's obvious commercial success in this country, some Australian music fans are less than impressed by the tour announcement. The Music Network is reporting rumblings of a backlash - including a Stop Nickelback Touring petition started by the Music Feeds website.
For those who are excited by the news, tickets go on sale next Tuesday, July 31.
