Nickelodeon Australia has announced Australia's first tween-festival, Slimefest. Artists already confirmed include Jessica Mauboy, Reece Mastin, Justice Crew, Stan Walker and Johnny Ruffo.
Slimefest will take place in Sydney’s Horden Pavilion on Saturday September 15, and is expected to combine all the greatest elements of Nickelodeons Kids' Choice Awards (KCAs) - trademark slime of course included.
General Manager of Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand, Ben Richardson, said: “Fans of the Australian KCAs can expect Slimefest to be a next-level concert experience, injected with spectacular slime stunts. It will be an event that kids and tweens all over Australia will want to be a part of, and we will make sure they can, no matter where they are.”
The event will be nationally broadcast. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday July 27.
