Weezer have announced they will be touring Australia in January, their first visit to the country for 16 very long years.
The band have announced four shows, during which they will perform a greatest hits set, and their classic debut album (the blue one) in its entirety.
The tour starts at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on January 13, before hitting Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne on January 16, Sydney Entertainment Centre on January 19, and Perth Arena on January 23. At the risk of speculating, there does seem to be quite a lot of time between those dates, which suggests there may very well be numerous shows in each city.
Tickets go on sale July 26.
