According the document obtained by Rolling Stone, Yauch, who died of cancer in May this year, named his wife, Dechen as the executor of his estate and leaves his $6.4 million fortune to his wife and their daughter, Tenzin Losel.

The will, which was filed on Tuesday in Manhattan Surrogate Court read: "Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, in no event may my image or name or any music or any artistic property created by me be used for advertising purposes.” Yauch had added the sentence “or any music or artistic property created by me” in his own handwriting.

Meanwhile, the remaining members of the band are currently battling the makers of Monster energy drinks in court over allegations Monster Beverage Corp stole their music to create a promotional video and downloadable audio file. The band seek a preliminary and permanent injunction, and are suing for damages of $150,000 for each infringement.
