We're not sure if it’s the seaside location, the single stage and intimate capacity, or the chance you may be camping next to Kimbra, but the boutique Festival of the Sun is looking like a cracker way to spend a summer weekend.
Taking place over December 14-15, FOTSUN has confirmed that its most killer line-up yet will include: Kimbra, Dead Letter Circus, Hermitude, The Datsuns, Busby Marou, Husky, DZ Deathrays, The Snowdroppers, The Cairos, Over-Reactor, Jackson Firebird, Nat Col & The Kings, Tin Sparrow, Dirty Little Rebels, The Mornings, Joe Robinson, Siskin River, The Widowbirds, Geoff Turnbull, Minnie Marks and Dirty Cash DJs.
To top it all off, just like an old fashioned camping trip, FOTSUN is an over-18's BYO event, however children under ten are free accompanied by an adult. BYO rules apply though, and strictly no glass will be allowed. It’s looking like a goon-sack kind of summer anyway.
With all its pros and very few cons, potential festivalgoers will have to be quick to snap up tickets to FOTSUN 2012. General admission tickets go on sale from 10am, September 5th for $160pp and include two nights free beachside camping.
