The Soundscape Festival announces 2012 lineup

The Soundscape Festival has just announced its 2012 lineup with The Temper Trap, Missy Higgins and Big Scary all set to perform.

The fifth edition of the Tasmanian festival has been moved from the Regatta Grounds to The Princes Wharf Shed #1 on the waterfront in Hobart, and will take place on November 16 and 17 rather than January.

Organisers say the changes mean patrons will enjoy less queueing and a more intimate experience with the performers.

2011’s event saw international acts such as Basement Jaxx, Pharoahe Monch and Mos Def perform. This year, along with the venue and timing change, the music lineup reflects the festival's more boutique, local focus.
