will.i.am to premiere track from Mars

NASA has declared their team-up with Black Eyed Pea will.i.am as “an educational event.”

In a statement from the Washington Headquarters, the artist/producer’s fitting track Reach For The Stars will premiere live from Mars via the space agency's Curiosity rover at 3am tomorrow morning in Australia.

This isn’t quite the educational event NASA cited; however, William Adams has been working with NASA and Discovery Education through his i.am.angel Foundation to push his “passion for science, technology and space exploration."

The collaboration is set to provide digital resources to kindergarten through to grade 12 classrooms, which will use NASA assets like the Mars Curiosity Rover.

Last year, will.i.am was named Director of Creative Innovation by Intel, and this year participated at VIVID Sydney with his ‘play the building’ installation.

You can broadcast the track from the NASA TV website
