Sydney's Art & About kicks off this week with a party in Martin Place, transforming the city streets into a creative canvas for artists and performers.
The Friday Night Live celebrations promise a night of live music on the Martin Place stage, headlined by The Bamboos, Van She, Rufus, Jingle Jangle and special guests while pop-up bars and food trucks serve delicious meals in the heart of Sydney.
During September and October, Art & About features exhibitions at the Art Gallery of NSW, Museum of Sydney, Australian Museum, Customs House and the State Library of NSW who will all be staying up late this Friday with exhibitions open until 9pm.
Surprising artworks and installations are waiting to be discovered in Sydney's laneways and public spaces, from colourful city lights to a house than rains on the inside.
