Inaugural Deni Blues & Roots Festival announced
The Deniliquin Festival Site has been promoted to the region’s official place of party, hosting the annual Deniliquin Ute Muster and now home to the Deni Blues & Roots Festival, which will have less utes and muster, but more music.

The event will take place for the first time over two days on Easter Saturday (30 March) and Easter Sunday (31 March) next year, and a slew of massive international artists have signed on to take part.

Santana, Steve Miller Band, Bonnie Raitt, Chris Isaak, Tony Joe White, Jimmy Cliff and plenty more legends will perform at the event, presumably to round out the international musicians’ residency of blues and roots festivals, are also performing at Byron Bay Blues ‘n’ Roots and West Coast Blues ‘n’ Roots - lucky you, Australia.

There will be camping facilities available from Good Friday 29 March through to Monday 1 April, with some pretty hectic options and packages (check out their website), and the venue will be fully licensed.

At present, tickets are open to Deniliquin locals and early bird sign-ups only, with general public tickets available Monday 26 November.

So far, the line-up includes:
- Santana
- Steve Miller Band
- Bonnie Raitt
- Chris Isaak
- Tony Joe White
- Jimmy Cliff
- Chris Russell’s Chicken Walk
- Chris Wilson/Geoff Achison Band
- Gallie & Shannon Bourne
- Collard Greens & Gravy
- Morgan Evans
- Ward’s Express
- Marco Goldsmith Band

More artists and good times are yet to be announced, so watch this space.
