US hip hop frontrunner Nas is set to headline and co-curate Australia’s inaugural Movement festival, which features fellow US rapper 2 Chainz, ARIA Award winning Sydney trio Bliss N Eso and pop-rap duo Chiddy Bang.
Joining them for the April tour through Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth will be Lil B’s least favourite rapper Joey Bada$$, Queen of the diss track, LA rapper Angel Haze, ARIA nominated Sydney duo Spit Syndicate and Thundamentals, who will perform their hometown of Sydney only.

Performing the opening slot will be a Triple J Unearthed winner, chosen by Hau Latukefu (Triple J announcer/Koolism member) and the team at Triple J.
Movement joins other national hip hop events like Sprung and Come Together (which over the past two years has dedicated itself to Australian hip hop), but fills the gap which now defunct festivals like Heatwave and Supafest left on the Australian festival scene.
Tickets are on sale from 9am Monday February 11.
