Melbourne Festival has announced the details of four new early-release shows to be staged as part of its October program.
Malthouse Theatre production The Shadow King, Noël Coward’s Brief Encounter, acclaimed cinematic chamber orchestra performance The Crowd, and a second Sylvie Guillem dance production, Push, have been added to the lineup - which had up until now consisted solely of Sylvie Guillem’s 6000 Miles Away, announced last year.
Tickets for all five sneak-peek events go on sale this Friday, March 22. The remainder of the program is due to be announced in August.
