It will be a very happy Halloween (well, October 26) in Melbourne this year, as All Tomorrow's Parties are planning to bring the brilliantly curated Release The Bats event to town.
The lineup so far features The Breeders (who will be performing Last Splash), The Jesus Lizard, The Scientists, Fuck Buttons, Lightning Bolt, Sleep, Forest Swords, Total Control, Hoss, The UV Race, White Walls, The Spinning Rooms and more to be announced.
Location-wise, the festival will be spread across outdoor and indoor venues in Altona, 13km from the CBD. These will be the only Victoria shows for both The Breeders and The Jesus Lizard (which suggests some sneaky Sydney dates may be on the cards).
Tickets are limited to just five thousand, and priced at $150, you'll want to get it quickly. They're on sale now.
