The Inaugural Stone Music festival just doubled in size and eyes have opened wider than Steve Tyler’s jaw circumference with the announcement that Aerosmith have joined the bill.
The Massachusetts rock and roll band, who will be in the country this month have cancelled their shows at ANZ Stadium April 28, and instead will join the Stone Music Festival bill.
Ticketek issued the following: “Stone Festival will be Aerosmith’s only Sydney performance and Van Halen’s only Australian performance. Both bands will perform full, greatest hits sets.
“This will mean the original Aerosmith concert date on Sunday 28 April, 2013 will no longer take place with all ticket holders receiving equivalent ticket allocation for the Stone Music Festival on Saturday 20 April, 2013.”
The Grammy winning band will join fellow special guest and rock heavyweight Jimmy Barnes as well as headliners Van Halen and Billy Joel.
