Daft Punk recorded two tracks for the next Kanye album

Daft Punk have told Rolling Stone they have been recording with Kanye West, working on new songs slated to appear on his next album.

The duo recorded both live and programmed drum tracks in their Paris studio while Yeezy... screamed over the results. "It was very raw: he was rapping – kind of screaming primally, actually," Thomas Bangalter says.

According to the same piece, Kanye played the two songs for director Michel Gondry, who should never work as a music critic. "One of them, I told him it sounded solid and powerful – I envisioned a cube when I heard it. He told me Chris Cunningham’s already directing the video."

Considering Kanye bumped an amazing Beyonce song from his last record, and buried Elton John's vocals to an inaudible level, whether the tracks will actually make the final record remains to be seen.
