You Am I to reissue and tour classic albums

Followers of You Am I's Facebook page could be forgiven for thinking that Tim Rogers had lapsed into a spell of nostalgia, with the frequent recent posting of old merch, tapes and the like. Well, it seems the band were just scouring the archives for material to include on the deluxe reissues of their first three records Sound As Ever, Hi Fi Way and Hourly, Daily, to be released on July 7. Each record will contain a second disc with B-sides, live recordings, studio tracks, and expanded booklets with the usual pictures and ephemera.

"We're still working on the track-listings because we keep discovering cassettes, DAT tapes and 4 track recordings that few people have ever heard. We are trying to leave no stone unturned so if you have anything you think is worthy of inclusion please let us know now," the band said in a statement on their website.

The band are also touring Hi Fi Way and Hourly, Daily, their most revered albums (#4 Record is often criminally overlooked) throughout July and August. Pre-order fan packs will be available on the band's website from 9am Friday and are expected to go quickly.
