The talks at Fort Denison - Sydney’s former penal site and defence facility - begin at the start of Vivid on Friday May 24 where a series of five lightworks are on display. The Light Walk was created by the Lighting Design Masters team at the Univeristy of Technolgy - Mike Day, Yiren Ding, Sun Jong Song and Alan Rose.
Before or after visiting the Light Walk around Walsh Bay, The Rocks and Circular Quay, visitors to the island, which is a five minute ferry ride from Circular Quay Wharf, can also be treated to an island camping experience from the historic Martello fortress tower with a giant artificial bonfire.
