For the first time ever, a World Wake boarding event will be held in Australia, featuring international and local riders and band headliners, The Living End.
Wakesessions is a combined wakeboard and music festival that's making its fifth stop in Mackay from November 15-17 at the GoWake Cable Park in Andergrove Lakes after it has toured the USA, UAE, Thailand and the Philippines.
Amoung the pro riders will be Queensland’s James Windsor and Angelica Schreiber who are reigning 2012 Pro Men’s and Pro Women’s World Champions.
Joining the The Living End on stage throughout the weekend will be local artists and DJ’s including PEZ, Loon Lake, Dune Rats and Ashleigh Cordingley, Alison Wonderland, Asta, Touch Sensitive, Remi, Grey Ghost, Scowny XEdge, The Miller Brothers and Lloyd Saunders.
