The live music scene of the North Shore is about to launch its newest flagship event, Party in the Park. On Saturday 14 March 2015, Party in the Park will take over the iconic North Sydney Oval with an all-Aussie line-up featuring The Cat Empire, The Jezabels, Husky, Little May and Sons of the East.
This brand new, one-day, outdoor concert celebrate Australian music with five talented Australian acts hitting the stage from 5pm. Multiplatinum, genre-bending collective The Cat Empire headlines the event with indie-rock sensation The Jezabels. The fresh spectral-folk sounds of Husky will be joined by three-piece folk outfit Little May. Northern beaches’ favourites Sons of the East will kick off the party as only local boys can.
The stage will be located next to the North Sydney Oval’s famous fig tree, facing on to the Oval. The fun will include “roaming entertainment” and punters will be encouraged to meet up with friends at bars and party hubs placed within the Oval, with a relaxed atmosphere and a focus on talented Australian acts.
