Jebediah - Live Review – 20th Anniversary tour Quotes
"Am I lost for words? Slightly. How do you describe a show that is greater than f**king awesome?" - Scenstr 19/06/15
"Vanessa’s bass guitar seemed only dwarfed by her smile, Brett played percussion happily mouthing every lyric that his vocalist brother Kevin … delivered front of stage, Chris periodically pausing to let the crowd know how “truly f**king great” they were. This was a band matching style with substance, and enjoying every damn minute." - Tone Deaf 09/06/15
"In one guitar riff, they had the power to make you feel completely free and alive. Typically, this is a feeling that we associate with youth. However this is something that anyone of any age can relate to and The 'Twenty' tour proves Jebs still have this ability. With Jebs it's easy, you don't have to think, you just have to be in the moment and feel." - The Au Review 17/06/15
"…the energy and fandom is still alive and well...From the softer Leaving Home to the visceral Jerks of Attention, Kevin Mitchell’s yelling, screaming and serenading carries us all through our angst and joy just like the first time. Vanessa Thornton swaps her beer for coconut water, but the bass is still the same, and she spends most of both sets jumping and smiling. Solos and improv by Chris Daymond on guitar and the drumming of Brett Mitchell bring maturity to the sound that can only come with two decades of experience." - The Music 18/06/15
"…the glorious pop hooks of Animal and Fall Down are impossible to brush off; they seep into your pores and get your arse into boogy mode, whether you like it or not...Teflon and Military Strongmen are delivered and received with fervour, and sit alongside fearsome album tracks Lino and Puckdefender. It’s when you realise these also come on the same album as the searing Leaving Home and the melting Harpoon, that you get a true idea of the breadth of this behemoth. Its impact on a generation of Oz rock lovers is indelible and belies it’s now 2 decade long existence." - LifeMusicMedia 18/06/15
