Leftfield Australian Tour

Frontier Touring are thrilled to confirm that British electronic outfit Leftfield, will be hitting Melbourne and Sydney with their rambunctious electronic sound this month.

These performances will be saving Leftfield fans from missing the legendary band's events as the two previously announced Melbourne and Sydney winery shows have been cancelled due to circumstances beyond the artist's control. Leftfield’s already announced Perth and New Zealand shows will proceed as scheduled.

“We had various options on what to do when we found out about the cancellation of the two events, but as far as I was concerned we just had to come to Australia. I didn’t want to let down any Leftfield fans. Now that we are going to be in the cities, we just want to pack these rooms out and come together with our fans whom we haven’t seen for 5 years.” – Neil Barnes

Leftfields Australian Tour is in celebration of their acclaimed third album Alternative Light Source (out now via Liberator Music/Infectious Music), the follow up to the Mercury Prize nominated Leftism (1995) and Rhythm and Stealth (1999).

"It has a fantastic visceral dance floor pulse, the only response is fist pumping joy" - 8/10, Mixmag

"Leftfield’s muscular invigorating presence remains undimmed" - MOJO

"A worthy successor…brimming with energy, ideas and diaphragm-rattling bass" - 8/10, Clash

"A masterpiece of texture…Universal Everything is spine-tingling" - The Observer

Since popping into the scene in 1991, Leftfield dominated electronic music from the underground alongside outfits like Orbital, Underworld and the Dust/Chemical Brothers.

Leftfield has indeed been one of the most talked about live acts in the British Dance Music scene. Standing proof for this is their notorious Liveism Tour in 1995, which caused a ban from Brixton Academy due to the use of behemoth sound system that brought about flaking of plaster from the ceiling.

Of Leftfield’s most recent UK tour, The Guardian said "In 2015, they haven’t so much moved forward so much as waited for everyone to catch up…say it loud, they’re back and absolutely deafening."

Don't you dare miss this chance to catch Leftfield for an ultimate eargasmic experience.
