Grammy-Nominated Rapper Schoolboy Q Returns To Australia In November

In celebration of his highly anticipated fourth studio album, Blank Face, Grammy-nominated rapper Schoolboy Q returns to Australia this spring for a national tour. He will bring houses down in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.

Born in Germany to a pair of military parents, Schoolboy Q spent the first three years of his life in Texas before his family eventually settled in Los Angeles where he developed his vocal style. His biggest influences are East Coast icons such as The Notorious B.I.G. and Nas.

Schoolboy Q joined Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul as the latest addition to Top Dog Entertainment’s growing family back in 2009. After releasing a series of stellar mixtapes and two acclaimed studio albums – Setbacks and Habits & Contradictions – the rapper made his major label debut with Oxymoron, which landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Charts and achieved platinum status after selling more than a million units.

Now, Schoolboy Q returns with Blank Face (out now through Universal/TDE). Dubbed as his most ambitious work to date, the record features a formidable cast of collaborators, including the likes of Kanye West, Vince Staples, Miguel, Anderson .Paak, Swizz Beats and Jadakiss. Schoolboy Q is as razor-sharp as ever across the 17 tracks in the album, shaping it into a sprawling, rhapsodic epic.

Be sure to get your tickets 'cause with Schoolboy Q in the house, there'll surely be no blank faces – only happy ones!
