Hot off the heels of their Bigsound 2016 performances, dance-punk duo DZ Deathrays now present their infectious new single ‘Pollyanna'. In support of the single, the duo will be heading out on a national tour in December for their biggest headline shows to date.
DZ Deathrays will be performing in Brisbane, before going to Leederville, Northbridge, Sydney and Adelaide. They will then head down to Melbourne for the final shows, one Under 18 and one 18+.
2016, supposed to be “a year off to write the new record”, has so far seen Shane Parsons and Simon Ridley release their ferocious single ‘Blood On My Leather’, support Violent Soho on a huge national tour, play Groovin The Moo festival and manage to squeeze in two tours through North America. They’ll also be touring through the UK, Europe and North America on a co-headline tour with buddies Dune Rats.
‘Pollyanna’ features all the things that fans and critics have come to love about the two friends’ music. It is a hugely contagious track that will have you bouncing off the walls.
Ecca Vandal will be supporting DZ Deathrays on all shows. Meanwhile, WoodBoot will be guesting on the Brisbane shows, Sox on the Perth show, Rackett on the Sydney show and Heads of Charm on the Adelaide and Melbourne shows.
