British metalcore act, Architects, will be taking Australia by storm this May, with a series of headline dates around their Groovin The Moo performance. The band will be playing in Brisbane, Melbourne, Carlton, Sydney and Perth.
Architects were in Australia last September, touring in support of Bring Me The Horizon before the latter's frontman, Oli Sykes cut the tour short because of health reasons. Now, Australian fans will finally have a chance to experience Architects' critically acclaimed seventh album, 'All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us'.
The record is a powerfully dark, confronting and sonically intense critique on the world. It wrestles with musings of death, God and faith in search of some semblance of hope for a world increasingly swallowed by fear, anger and confusion.
Upon its release, All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us shot straight to no. 2 on the ARIA Chart – the highest ever chart position of their career not only in Australia, but the rest of the world. The album also topped several end of year lists including Rock Sound, Kerrang!, Hysteria Magazine and Killyourstereo, and saw the band play the biggest headline shows of their career, paying tribute to their guitarist/founding member Tom Searle, who sadly passed away in 2016.
The band will be supported by their UNFD label mates, Ocean Grove.
