After over three long decades, UK pop legend and relentless explorer Alison Moyet will be returning to Australia this October, as part of her 'Other World Tour'. The BRIT Award Winner and Grammy Nominee will captivate fans in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane with her infamous bluesy low voice.
"I'm beyond delighted to be returning to Australia and New Zealand again after 30 years. Having had some considerable time to practice in the interim, I am glad to declare that gigging is my favourite thing ever. My new album 'Other' which continues the electronic sound-bed I favoured on 'the minutes' allows my live work to also present many of my earlier songs in their intended form, albeit with some jiggery pokery. Moyet's career started as one half of electronic duo Yazoo and her many solo hits that followed cemented her reputation as one of UK's top female recording artists of all time. Working with Vince Clarke in the early 1980s, Yazoo released many hits including ‘Only You’, ‘Nobody’s Diary’ and ‘Situation'.
