Little Splendour Returns This July 2017

If you think Splendour In The Grass is only for the grown-ups, well it's high time you know that pint-sized punks and sandpit moshers will also have their own space in the grassy fields of North Byron Parklands this July, with the return of Little Splendour.

Little Splendour is designed exclusively for parents and their ankle-biters and offers a plentiful oasis to relax and play. With special zones designed for both littlies and tweens, the festival is jam-packed with loads of fun stuff for the whole family.

Little Kidz Zone:
For those with babies in tow, there’s the Giant Tipi in the Little Kidz Zone where you can feed, change and rest up between 10:00am and midnight daily. It also features tables and benches for meals and a lounge area. From mini parks to giant sandpits, music gardens to jumping castles, the Little Kidz Zone has the youngsters sorted. For the brooding artist to be, there’s the Artie Fartie Partie, not to mention another tipi for dress ups and story-telling, featuring live cameos from all their favourite characters.

Meanwhile, Coffee legends Moonshine Roasters will take care of your caffeine dose during the festival. They’ll be setting up shop from 10:00am to 5:00pm daily and will have you perked up quicker than you can say ‘Fidget Spinner.’

Big Kidz Zone:
The Big Kidz Zone is for the "tweens on the scene". It provides an amazing selection of sports and games, a jumping castle, face painting and giant board games. They can channel their future-festival selves too, by joining in the various arts and crafts workshops, creating their very own flower crowns, wire tree pendants, tie-dye and eco jewelry.

Little Big Top:
The Little Big Top will feature daily live performances from a monster bill of favourites including the rock n roll pedigree of Bunny Racket, a set from 14-year old wonderkid DJ Sol, a drumming performance and workshop with Sound Synergy and heaps more!

Little Splendour 2017 Line Up:
Bunny Racket, DJ Sol, Poppy Galactic and the Beat, Sound Synergy Drumming performance and workshop, Johnny the Jester, Kiddywinks Puppet Show, Red Rocket 3, The Vegetable Plot, Barefoot Gypsies, Circus Arts, Shorty Brown, Fiesta Creations, Trick Star Freestyle Footballers, musical theatre and more!

Kidzklub Babysitting:
Got a date with the main festival's headline acts? KidzKlub babysitting will be there to set you free. A fully secured area with trained teachers and childcare professionals, parents can drop the littlies off between 12:00pm to 12:00am Friday, Saturday and Sunday and they will be kept occupied for two hours at a time with art, craft, movies, games and books.

Little Splendour will be held from 21st to 23rd July as part of the Splendour In The Grass festival. Grab your tickets and prepare for three days of fun with the family and friends!
