The xx Return To Australia In January For An East Coast Headline Tour

After headlining this year's Splendour In The Grass, British indie group The xx are returning to Australia in January next year for an East Coast Headline Tour in support of their third studio album 'I See You'.

Kicking off in Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl, the trio of Romy Madley Croft, Jamie xx and Oliver Sim (bass, vocals) will make their way to another Melbourne venue, The Forum, then to Brisbane Riverstage. The culminating show will be held at The Domain in Sydney. The upcoming headline tour will also be The xx's way of showing support to the members of LGBT+, as one dollar from every ticket sold will go towards PLUS1, an organisation that holds programs for the LGBT+ community.

'I See You' was released early this year via The Young Turks. Critically-acclaimed, the album sees the band exploring the depths and breadths of their sound whilst staying true to their musical roots. It features singles like 'On Hold', 'Dangerous', 'Say Something Loving' and 'I Dare You'.

Along for the ride as special guests are American singer-songwriter Kelela and LA rapper and DJ, Earl Sweatshirt. Kelela is best known for her 2013 debut mixtape 'Cut 4 Me'. The singer is set to release her debut studio album soon. Earl Sweatshirt, on the other hand, broke into the scene with his first-ever mixtape called 'Earl'.
